Google is driving the advertiser to manual CPC or AI-driven options by March 2025.
Google passed the statement, phasing off the Enhance CPC Bid Strategy for Search and Display campaigns.
 
In the coming months, Google will end the era of smart bidding, one of the earliest bidding options of Google.

What are the dates and the changes?

In creating the new search and display, from October 2024, there will be no enhanced CPC bidding strategy.
 
Well, the existing campaigns running with the Enhance CPC Bid Strategy will be continuing with the same strategy until March 2025.
 
In the month of March 2025, the existing campaigns will be automatically turned into manual CPC bidding strategies.
 
All the advertisers who choose to not change the bid strategy by the date, late they see the campaigns are turned in manual CPC.
 

Does it affect the display campaign?

Their will will have no immediate impact on the display campaigns that are running on Max Clicks budding and Enhance CPC bidding.
 
By March 2025, these campaigns will be automatically changed from Enhanced CPC to Max Clicks Bidding strategy.
